TheTopTenBestSongsEver

Obviously I'm a huge music fan and my taste and favorite music changes all the time. I put together a list of my favorite songs right now, download them! Legally of course.

1) 'Tiny Dancer'- Elton John
Such a perfect song all the way around. It's a pick me up, classic and such a fun bar song all at the same time. Plus, not to mention, it makes the best scene from a movie ever; the 'Almost Famous' scene, which just so happens to be my favorite movie.

One of my favorite songs for forever. I just love it, I love Jack Johnson and this is one of his best songs from his first CD's.

The above link is the actual live version that made me completely fall in love with the song. But who can whistle like that without taking a breather? It's such a happy song and I can't help but belt it when I'm driving. The bottom video is such an adorable father and daughter version of the song, it gives me chills!

Such a good song, and what a good anthem for a tight group of friends. I love The Beatles and grew up with them and this has always been one of my favorites. Although the original is great, I love the Joe Cocker version too. Love The Wonder Years.
We all know I'm a huuuge Brit fan but this one is by far my favorite. The all white, innocent, pre-head-shave is  just so awesome. When I was little I would try and imitate these dance moves for hours!
How cute is she?!

I love this song so much. I think it means so much to me because it mirror-images my group of friends to a T. The above link is probably the best live version, but everybody should download this one!

The White Stripes are one of my favorite bands, but I love when Meg sings, which is why this is one of my favorites. The above link is from their DVD set, 'Under the Great Northern Lights'. It's so so devastating that they're broken up forever now.
So depressing.

How could Madonna not be on the list? she's one of the best, the classic Pop princess! This is by far my favorite Madonna song, karaoke pleaser, I think so!
Gotta love the cone bra!

I've always been a Killers fan but this song is just soo so amazing, my mom even loves it. It's so catchy and has been remade into so many remixes and remakes it, I've lost count.

I love Sublime and all they're songs but this one is my favorite. I love the mix of Spanish and English and the flow of the whole song. It's too bad the band doesn't play it live anymore because the old lead singer, Bradley, died. But, they're still awesome live, check them out!
RIP Brad Nowell!

There ya have it, my favorite songs! What are your favorite songs? Which ones of my list do you hate/love?!

TheTopTenBestAnti-DietFoods

Since it's almost bikini season, it's time for me to buck-up and quit the bad foods! 10 pounds by June 1st?!
Well, that's my goal anyway. Since dieting, I've been craving the most anti-diet foods. So, I figured what better way to get over my bad food cravings then to list them!?

1) Donuts
Arghhhh my weakness. I mean really, if I were a superhero, donuts would be my kryptonite! Krullers, Boston Creme, plain with sprinkles! Any donut, any time is a perfect pick me up. Bethlehem native? Try Vallos Bakery donuts, amazing.
Watching this donut video actually made my mouth water, just call me Homer Simpson!
fast-metabolism heaven.
 2) French Fries
Driving by McDonald's everyday is torture. Any type of french fry is amazingly bad for my diet, but the greasy, salty McDonald's fries are to die for.
Yumm super size me.
3) Dark Chocolate Coconut Eggs
Maybe because it's right around Easter, but hey, I could eat an entire box. I love coconut so anything soaked. covered, or smothered in the stuff is a weakness for me.
Bet ya they don't make these in fat free.
4) Calamari
Not the chain-restaurant calamari. The local, home-made, freshly-fried calamari thats smothered in hot marinara. It's one of my favorite foods so whenever I want a cheat meal, calamari here I come.
If you live in and around Bethlehem, Pa, try Hometown Hereos' calamari, it's by far the best!
I love the tenticles!!
5) Fried Ice-Cream
Anything fried is amazing, really. But this is a fried desert that's frozen! It's almost a miracle. The best place for fried ice-cream? Local Spanish and Mexican restaurants.
Brown sugar fried is the best!
6) Hot Dogs
I know, I know. Filled with non-meat products blah blah blah. But who in their life hasn't craved a hot, greasy hot dog? Like the one's from baseball games! Favorite toppings? ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut and onions. If I'm gonna  eat a hot dog, I'm gonna go all out.
Perfection.
7) Doritos
So many flavors, so little calories. Doritos are soooo good, best bagged snack. Favorite flavor? Probably cooler rance. But they're all great!
So cute! Superbowl commercial winner.
8) Girl Scout Cookies
Amazing! I hate walking into grocery stores and seeing those little girl scouts, which I once was, selling those delicious cookies. Thin mints, caramel delights, shortbread cookies! They're all so good!
A thousand calories.
9)  Macaroni and Cheese
Kraft and Velveeta. Anything from a box is good for me. The homemade stuff is great too, but the boxed stuff is where it's at. What could be better than tons of carbs and loads of powdered cheese?
Mac and cheese with bread crumbs! Yum
10) Pizza
How can pizza not be on my list? I honestly would eat pizza every single day if I could. White pizza is my favorite, bacon and onion on top of my pizza is killer. Even though it's a chain, Domino's is the best!
Cold pizza is the best breakfast.

So there's my top ten wish-I-could-eat-everyday-foods! What's your diet weakness?

TheTopTenRealityShows

Everyone loves reality TV, how could you not?! Random, ordinary people being filmed doing their boring everyday lives, getting paid for it and getting famous. Reality TV is so bad, it's good, so I've put together my list of the best reality shows.

1) The Real World
The first and best reality show.Although the first, I don't know, ten seasons were the best, the show is still going strong and still awesome. The Key West season was by far my favorite!
Love Key West but...
The first season is just so classic.

2) The Jersey Shore
Sorry to say, but this is so 2nd place. Even for those who hate it, it's a cultural phenomenon, bad or good. Even those who claim to hate it are completely addicted to beating the beat up and J-Woww's signature tanning lotion.
Theme song!

Plus how could you not LOVE Pauly and Vinny?

3) American Idol
The can opener of all of the future talent reality shows to come. I was obsessed with the show for the first 6 or 7 seasons, up until Paula, then Simon left. The show is still great and so awesome for hidden talent!
Best American Idol winner?

Ruben Studdard!

4) Fear Factor
What isn't great about watching people eating live bugs, jumping out of planes or other reckless events? Plus, it's always great when there's a twist involved, couple Fear Factor?!

5) Keeping Up With The Kardashians
Another, so good it's bad show. Although they may not really be famous for anything inparticular, they're booming! And the show is just absolutely hilarious. Khloe is definitely the best Dash sister.

6) Teen Mom
Amber, Caitlin, Macy and Farrah are the original teen moms and I love them. The second season is also addictive, I love the baby mama drama.
The grossest, yet most entertaining teen mom.

7) Toddlers and Tiaras
It's really just so irresistible. So horrible, I mean really, really bad, but so so good. So demoralizing for kids, but so great to watch for sane adults.
So amazingly addictive.

8) Wife Swap
Although this show ended due to a law suit, it's well worth the watch. Two complete polar opposit women switching lives? What could create more drama?

9) Survivor
Although I was never as hooked as the majority if the world, the concept of the show and the idea is clearly phenomenal. One of the original and most classic reality shows.

10) America's Next Top Model
Although I have a passionate hate for Tyra Banks, ANTM is so great. The best part about the show? Jay and Ms. Jay and the crazy photoshoots they go on!

Ugh I hate her, but I love the show.

So, there ya have it, my favorite reality shows! What are some of your top reality shows!?

TheTopTenBestSongsOfThe90's

Being a 90's baby myself, I love all those old 90's songs that you can't help but blast when they're on the radio. Here are a few of my top ten favorite songs from my baby-booming days! Let me know what you think!

1) "... Baby One More Time"
So maybe I'm a little biased, but Britney Spears is my all time favorite pop singer ever. Therefore, it's only natural that her first hit is my number one choice of the 90's! Not only did this song launch Brit's awesome career, but it started a crazed sexy-school girl look that is still great today.

Plus, everyone sitll tries to mimick those dance moves!

2) "Under The Bridge"
One of my favorite bands, The Red Hot Chili Peppers are just amazing, and this is by far one of their best, and most popular hits. Still playing over and over again on the radio, this song never gets old. Plus, the meaning behind the song is so significant to Anthony Keidis, the lead singer and writer of the song.

3) "Wonderwall"
Oasis' 1 of 2 hits. Everyone knows the song, and loves it. They lyrics are great, and so opposite of the standard Oh-so-pop hits of the 90's.

4) "Only Wanna Be With You"
Absolutely love Hootie and The Blowfish. The song is so much fun and really pushed forward Hootie's crew and their career!

5) "Tearin Up My Heart"
Still plays over and over in my head. Love *NSYNC and the successful guys they are now! *NSYNC paved the way for future corny boy bands, but was the only one that launched successful solo careers.

6) "Wannabe"
Spice Girls, girl powa!, Spice Girls The Movie 1 and 2?! All classic. Being one of the only successful girl bands, Spice Girls self titled album was so bad, but so good.

7) "I'll Be"
Talk about a one hit wonder! Such an awesome love song, yet so weird how Edwin Mccain just fell off the face of the earth.

8) "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It"
Another one of those terrible songs from the 90's that are just so good. Such a party pleaser and an amazing start to Will Smith's career.

9) "I Want It That Way"
Another classic boy band hit, sorry for those who are Backstreet Boys fans over *NSYNC, but at least they're still on the list! Such a good song though.

10) "Smells Like Teen Spirit"
One of the best, and so dramatic. Nirvana was so controversial and different than the other 90's pop bands, even after Kobain killed himself!

SO, there ya have it! My top ten 90's songs! Let me know what you think? Are you as into the pop bands as I am?

TheTopTenBiggestPetPeeves

So many things, habits and events drive me nuts!! Maybe it's a little harsh but sometimes people in general just make me wanna pull my hair out. Here's my list of my top ten biggest peeves, and things that just make me hair stand on end.

1) Wearing the same sweatshirt or pullover everyday.
So this one's a little superficial but hey, it's just bad hygiene. In high school I sat behind a boy who wore the same basketball hoodie everyday, EVERYDAY! That's honestly disgusting. I mean maybe her wore a different t-shirt underneath the hoodie but still, it's an article of clothing. NOT a jacket.

2) No blinker.
It's really just a flick of the wrist to turn your blinker on, not a huge deal. By just turning your blinker on, your saving the person behind you a whole lot of stress. Otherwise, you just look like an old grandma attempting to turn, and not to mention lazy!
Apparently I'm not the only one who hates the non-blinkers.

3) Popsicle biters.
I mean really, what's the point. The noise itself goes directly through me and gives me the chills. Ughh can't you just lick the popsicle instead of putting us all through pain?!

Okay, she's cute but ew.
4) Non-pimple poppers.
Also another issue of hygiene. Ew, if you see the white head, POP IT! Yes, everyone gets pimples but the majority of the world doesn't want to see your nasty white heads.
I was gonna add a picture of a white head but I couldn't even stomach looking at it! This is the grossest, most dramatic blackhead ever, though, if your interested.

5) Chewing with mouth open.
Ughhh, ugh this one is really so gross, especially when the food being chewed is a creamy substance. Don't you feel that your mouth is open when you chew? Or worse yet, talking while your chewing?

6) Movie Ending Tellers.
Rude, rude, rude. Come on, when someone says they haven't seen a movie, what would possess you to tell the ending!? Doesn't even make sense to me. Aside from movies, the same goes for books. That's just down right mean. Someone told me the ending of the 7th Harry Potter book and i almost cried, such a funsucker.
They're so cute and little!

7) Tacky tattoos.
Again, a little superficial but hey, I'm honest. This needs to be said and I'm apologizing in advance for hurting anyone's feelings but, it's my opinion! Okay, so for females: stars, hearts, moons and cartoon characters cannot be done. Sorry, but no. Be more creative! And for males: tribal tattoos and Japanese writing just goes right through me. It's almost as if these people googled overdone and unoriginal tattoos and decided to get them just for fun.

Yea, definitely a don't.

8) The non-recyclers.
Okay so even if you're not the Go Green type, it's not difficult to throw your plastic or paper, or other recyclable product, in the recycling bin. Come on, your easily saving the earth.

9) Nose-pickers with a tissue.
This is mostly for old men, but come on. If your gonna pick your nose, just go in bare handed. And please, please do it in private. People just have no mercy. Just because there's a tissue between your lodged-in-your-nose-finger and your nose does not mean your merely blowing your nose.

10) Toe touchers.
Yeah not sanitary at all. and just so sick. Playing with feet, toes and toenails in general just is not okay to do in public, at all.

So there's my top ten pet peeves! What are your pet peeves and your bad habits?

TheTopTenBestThemeSongs

So I'm a complete sucker for sitcoms in general, so I've put together a list of my top ten favorite theme songs! Come on, we all know you either have some theme songs on you Ipod or you at least know all the words. Let me know your favorites!

1) Friends
One of my favorite TV shows of all time, but definitely the best theme song. It portrays the show so well and they work scenes from that season to go along with the song. Favorite part? When one of the characters claps to the clapping part in the song, I do it everytime!

Everyone wants to go where somebody knows your name! Ever since I was little, I dreamed of going to Cheers! The show's great too, especially when Diane leaves and Kirstie Allie takes her place. Who could beat Coach, Carla and Sam Malone!?

This theme song/rap definitely prompts Will Smith's future rapping career. But, aside from that, it's so beyond catchy and everyone knows the words, including my mother. The show itself is pretty good, too, but the theme song replays over and over in my head if I watch just one episode!

So I know the majority of the world hates Fran Drescher but I love her. Regardless of my love for the nasal-sounding, annoying actress, the theme song is so catchy! I love it. Maybe I'm just addicted to TVLand and got wrapped up in The Nanny, but it's definitely one of my guilty pleasures.

Ahhh I miss this show. Such a good song in general, gotta love Joe Cocker. The song itself is great and perfect for karaoke but as a theme song, it does really well for the show. This sitcom is also great and I'll probably attempt to NetFlix it sometime soon. I think we all love Winnie Cooper!
How cute!!!!
Well, while we're on the Savage brother topic, Boy Meets World is also so great. Another theme song on my Ipod, this show and theme song is addictive and perfect. The song completely highlights the synopsis of the show and  makes everyone love the theme song! Oh Tapanga and corey.
"When I wake up in the morning and blah blah blah I'm at the corner just in time to see the bus fly by!"
Even though I can never remember the words perfectly to this one, this theme song is also great. Every girl was in love with Zach Morris and every boy in love with Kelly Kapowski. Such a great show!
Remember Kelly and Zach's wedding episode in Vegas? NetFlixing now!

Oh Full House. I've seen every episode at least three times, but that dang theme song never gets old! Everyone knows it and, of course everyone loves the show. Who wouldn't love a show packed with Bob Saget, John Stamos and both Olsen twins as one character?
Even though the first season was the worst, look at that John Stamos mullet! Classic Uncle Jesse.

Old school yet so classic. Everyone knows this one, or at least that you're supposed to snap your singers to it! Everyone loves Wednesday and Pugsley, not to mention Lerch and Thing. I wish this show was still on
TVLand!
Bet ya didn't know that Wednesday's middle name is Friday!

Even though the perfect morals, white pearls and alice's maid outfit goes righ throught me, the theme song is awesome. Especially the opening when every character is a floating head in a box. Even though the show is so bad when it comes to the perfectionist side of it, it's so great now. Plus, who could forget when Mrs. Brady had a mullet?
Gosh, love it.

So there's my top ten TV theme songs! Let me know yours, and any I left out!

TheTopTenBestDisneyMovies

So, yeah im 21 years old and still obsessed with Disney. I mean, who isn't really! Between the fairy tale lands, animals talking and prince charmings why wouldn't anyone love it! I've compiled a little list of the best Disney movies in my opinion. Now, I'm not including sequels because than Toy Story would just trump the list! And only animated and/or pixar are included. Let me know what you think.

1) The Little Mermaid
Living under water and being a princess with a seashell bra!?! come on. Legs are the least of Ariel's worries. This has always been my favorite Disney movie because it's so far fetched and the story is great. I'm still a little afraid of Ursula.

2) The Lion King
This little gem is so classic, cute and really intense at the same time! I swear some of these Disney movies are so political and have hidden messages, especially for the little kid genre that they are. The Lion King wins second place on my list mostly because of it's awesome soundtrack and the hilarious characters.

Simba's so cute
3) Toy Story!
Love it. Toy Story is so great and I adored every sequel. The timing of the 3 movies is awesome and so perfect with my age group. It's like I grew up with Woody and Buzz! Love the entire movie and I really hope that my old toys love me as much as Andy's toys love him. 'You've Got a Friend in Me' still gets me a little teary-eyed.

4) Aladdin
Love this exotic Disney flick. It's so great and so scandalous at the same time. Aladdin and Jasmine are by far my favorite Disney couple and Jafar still scares me. It's the only exotic Disney movie and actually really funny since the movie supposedly takes place in India, but yet they all speak perfect English. Ahhh love Disney.
Plus, who can beat a blue Robin Williams?

5) Monsters Inc.
This movie is so funny. Like actually makes me laugh. It's a later Disney flick but I think that's why I like it more. The big fluffy monsters that are supposed to be scary is a perfect plot line for a movie. Love it. Plus, Boo is just adorable.
6) Alice in Wonderland
One of my favorite books of all time andI love the movie version too. So trippy and awesome the way its filmed and written. I love the difference of Alice compared to every other Disney movie. Such a different way of going about a kid film!!
7) Pocohantas
A spin-off of a classic American true-story, even though they actually kill Pocohantas at the end. I love the Grandma Weeping Willow and the intensity of the characters. I think it's a little far fetched that they turned this horrific tale of Indian killing into a kid film, but hey, i still love it!
8) Fantasia
Ahhh what a different kind of film Fantasia is! It's so awesome. I was so deathly afraid of it when I was little but now I appreciate it so much more. It's like the creators of Disney were sick of the fluffy, baby movies they were creating and decided to write this dramatic and sensitive animated movie only staring Micky Mouse, with almost no words! The water and broom scene still gives me chills, not gonna lie.
9) Hercules
Love the spin-off of Greek Mythology. Obviously didn't quite grasp this when I was 7 but now rewatching it, the writers are so witty with the Greek Myth one-liners. I love it. I still have my Meg and Hercules collectibles. It's probably one of the only Disney movies that is actually funny for adults too.
And the animation is so different than the standard Disney animation!

10) Peter Pan
Another one of my favorite books, honeslty probably my favorite. But the movie is awesome too! I of course adore the story line and the characters and absolutely love the 'never grow up' theme behind the entire movie. One of the oldest and one of the best! Read the book!!!

Plus, Hook was spun-off of this movie. Which is definitily one of the greatest movies ever!

watch it!

What are your favorite Disney movies?! Did i do old Walt justice in this list?

First Blog: TopTenBestWaysToCelebrateSpring

Okay, since this is my first post, I figured I'd ring it in with a celebration of Spring! Although the weather isn't lookin' too "April-showers-brings-May-flowers"ish right now, I have high hopes. These are the top ten ways I think everyone should partake in to celebrate my favorite season.

1) Ride a Bike!
A few weeks ago, the weather is almost summer-like and I actually dug out my old bike from, gasp!, middle school. I live in an extremely hilly area but i decided to embrace the weather and ride around my little town on my oh-so-old bike. Although i suffered from major butt-soreness the next day, riding my bike was so freeing and relaxing.
Plus, it totally saves gas and lets you breath real, fresh air!

2) Partaking in an outdoor activity!
Also very middle school, but hey, what beats a game of kickball! Whenever the weather starts to brighten up, my friends and I hit the playground and church parking lot for a quick game of stickball, kickball, or any other ball-organized-game. It may seem childish but it's tons of fun and an awesome way to keep the addrenaline pumping.

3) Go on a picnic!
Instead of spending extra hard earned cash, go ahead and pack an outdoor-friendly food basket and head to a field or park. Again, another way to appreciate the outdoors and also saves you cash! Just remember a blanket.

4) Shop!!!
I have severe shopping addiciton, I'll admit it. But the worst, or best depending on how you look at it, time of year for me is Spring. Nothing excites me for Spring more than shopping for the season's new trends. Buying sandals, summer dresses, and even a bathing suit is a great way to ring in the season!
forever21.com has an amazing, cheap, spring collection! check it out.

5) Go on a walk!
Sick of the extra winter weight you mysteriously packed on? Then embrace your neighborhood, tie up your dusty sneaks and hit the streets. Walking pumps up the addrenaline and your heart rate and can help you get in shape for Summer! It's also a great way to appreciate the oncomings in nature for Spring!

6) Wear bright colors!
Hop off the black, gray and beige train and stick to brights. I'm not advising to go on a rainbow-bright kick here, but adding a touch of color can really brighten up your day and put you in the good-weather mood. Try pairing a simple bright tee with a neutral blazer and wedges! So Spring.
http://www.americanapparel.com/ is the go-to place for perfect brights!

7) Windows open!
Not only do I drive with my windows open year round, I often open my bedroom windows for some fresh air. I love the smell of Spring and wether your stuck in the office or the car all day, leaving your windows open can really Spring it up. Turn off the AC, heat or whatever artifical air you're used to and open that glass!

8) Farmer's market here you come!
Even if your not the healthiest eater, going to a local farmer's market is fun and great-tasting. Picking out your own seasonal fruits and veggies is the best way to control your diet and your seasonal celebration. Drive around until your find a farmer's market and stock up on your favorite healthy bites!

9) Plan a trip!
Even if you don't have the money for a lavish, out-of-thecountry, all expense paid trip, brainstorm road trips for the beach or maybe a museum. These mini-trips will definetly excite you for the upcoming seasons and will motivate you to save some money! Jersey shore, here we come! Move over Snooki.

It might not be Aruba, but it's only 2 hours away! Day trip anyone?

10) Clean!!!!!
It might not sound like the most appetizing way to pump in Spring, but Spring cleaning is essential, well at least for my messy habits. It refreshens your winter life and gives you a chance to refurbish your room and lifestyle! Embrace your inner Monica Ghellar of Friends and start cleaning.

What are your favorite ways to celebrate Sping?! Or are you not a Gigantic Spring fan like myself? Tell me your thoughts on my first post!
